MDS Blog Hop: Christmas Cards

This week our MDS Blog Hop challenge was to design a Christmas card. Well I designed five! I wanted to show you different ideas in different colors and styles so I used some family pictures from years past. I hope this shows you just how versatile this wonderful software is. If I feel like designing something in a vintage style, the elements are there. If I want more of a whimsical feel, I change up the paper and embellishments. And trust me, my mood changes often! I'm a girl, what can I say? I need enough choices when I'm designing to match my moods (kind of like shoes.) Click here to order your very own My Digital Studio software today and get designing your Christmas card! (It's not even November yet, what a great way to get something crossed off your holiday to-do list!)

I made this one using a picture from last year. The punch shape behind the reindeer is from the Spooky Treats kit and I filled it with paper from the Timeless Portrait Designer Series Paper. You'll notice I used a ton of non-Christmas kits and papers on these cards.
I took these photos and designed this card for my sister. In return, I got free Mary Kay stuff! (Font is The Dreamer) (If you are local to the Salt Lake City, Utah area you should hire me to take your photos!)
This card uses family pictures of us from two years ago. I wanted to show how easy it is to use non-traditional Christmas colors to match the colors in your photos. (Font is Lobster Two) (Funny thing about these pictures is I was pregnant with Esper in them and had no idea.)
A circle photo and a grouping of embellishments makes this card so fast to design in My Digital Studio!
This will be our card this year. Please click on it to enlarge. It will be a trifold, which is why it is so long. I'll take a picture of it when it gets here from the printer. Again, notice the non-traditional Christmas colors.

Supplies used: (If you don't see a paper or stamp below, it is included with the original software)

Here are some more amazing Christmas kits that would be fun to create cards with:
