I love to CASE!

CASE = Copy And Share Everything

I really love Heather Summers' digital layouts. They are simple, bold, and she seems to whip them out in no time! So I love case'ing her. This page she made uses the Nursery Necessities stamp set which is perfect if you have lots of baby photos to scrapbook.

Here's her page:

I love how she used the colors from her photos to inspire her color selection and I loved the stamped stars and borders on the left side of the page.
One of the best features of My Digital Studio is the color picker- you can match your colors to the colors in your photos! I loved using this feature on these pictures of my daughter playing in her exersaucer. I used toys on her exersaucer to pull the color for the orange to fill the stars.

Using photos in punches (My Digital Studio)

I used this awesome technique of putting a photo in a punch to create this layout:
Of course I used a layout by Liz Kartchner for inspiration. I love challenging myself to create projects I see online using only My Digital Studio.

I used the Nursery Paper and Embellishments again. My plan is to use mostly this kit for all of Esper's baby pages and then get a bound book printed. Everything will coordinate and look so pretty together. Maybe I will send copies to her grandparents, too. :)

Make sure you go enter my giveaway below for a chance to win two digital layouts made by me!

Giveaway! (and a new layout)

I am so excited to announce this giveaway. I will randomly pick a winner from the comments left on this post to receive two My Digital Studio layouts made by me! You pick the photos, send them to me, and I will send you two printed layouts made just for you!

I've been having so much fun with the latest downloads for My Digital Studio. I love the Nursery DSP in the catalog and was hoping it would be made digital. Now I have so many supplies to create beautiful layouts for Esper's book. No more excuses for not getting started on it!

The Nursery Embellishment kit comes with 83 items! Wowza.

In my typical fashion, I used a layout as a starting point for my design on this layout. It was made by Maggie Holmes and you can see it here.

I hope you like it and make sure to enter the giveaway!

(I will add handwritten journaling when the page is printed.)

Sale-A-Bration time!

This is my favorite time of year! Every year Stampin' Up! has the best promotion- Sale-A-Bration! For every $50 you spend you get a free stamp set. BUT this year they have also added in some other things you can get for free including buttons, paper, ribbon and the best: a digital content cd! Here are the images that come on the disc. Basically it is digital versions of all the stamp sets in the SAB brochure plus designer series paper, buttons, and ribbon.

I made a two-page spread of Libby's 3rd Birthday.

Here are the pages larger:
For this page layout I used this sketch from PageMaps.com.

I used a template from MDS for the right page so I could fit lots of photos on the page.

Here is another layout I made using some border strips from the SAB digital content cd. I also used the circle punch to make my own Designer Series Paper. It was so easy!

So hurry and place your order by March 31 for $50 and receive a FREE product! You could even order My Digital Studio and receive the digital content cd for free!

Scrapbooking? Easy as Pie with MDS!

So I pretty much live for easy. I have a 7-month-old baby and a house that is always needing attention. Not to mention two step-kids and a million photos of our family doing things I want to scrapbook. I love that My Digital Studio has pre-made templates that I can just throw my photos into or tweak a little to fit my photos. In this layout, I simply moved all of the objects to the left side of the page to make room for my vertical photo and changed the background paper to be a red that more closely matched the girls' dresses. I love the result!
