Baby's 1st Birthday Board Book Album

I made this board book last year for convention, but I realized recently that I had never posted it on my blog. It came together very quickly once I had a design plan. I just alternated the different layouts so I didn't have to think too hard about it. You'll see that when I got it printed I didn't leave enough room on the cover so it got cut off a little. Make sure you leave extra room for the cover bleeds if you get a board book printed. My favorite thing about the board books are that the pages lay flat. You don't have to worry about the middle gutter area. I also love how my daughter can look at this as much as she wants and I don't have to worry about the pages getting bent or torn. Here is a video of her looking at this book. You can see more images of the party decor here.

This is my favorite spread. I just took a photo and made it fit the length of both pages.
Check out how it printed:

MDS Blog Hop: Teacher Thank You Cards

It's finals week! I am so ready to be done with school until Fall. Yay! I will be starting at a new school and so will Esper. I am very sad to have to say goodbye to her wonderful teachers and friends. I'm sure she'll love her new school but she had such a great time and grew so much and I'll always think of it as her first "school" experience. She went from having anxiety around people to really opening up and making lots of friends. Our theme this week reminded me that I needed to make some teacher appreciation gifts for her teachers. I made it really simple- it only took me about 10 minutes to design one of these and then copy and paste it so I had two. I will just attach these to Target gift cards and call it good.
