New Layouts (3/31) MDS

This page uses the One Great Year kit. I made this for Alesha Walls' ScrapSketch25 challenge.
I never thought I'd be using pink on a boy layout! I used the new Pedaling Past stamp set.

Catching up on my albums so quickly with these SU designed templates! This is a whole Christmas album that comes with the original software. Just added journaling.

To make the clouds I simply used the doodle image that comes with the Notes stamp set (from the SAB digital content cd). Today is the last day to get this cd free with a $50 purchase!

This layout was inspired by one by Lisa Dickinson and uses the gorgeous Medallion Stamp.

New Layouts (3/24) MDS

Lately I have been doing 2-3 new layouts each day so have a few new layouts to show you!

This layout was for Alesha Wall's ScrapSketch24 Challenge and uses the adorable Love Birds kit. Sometimes I leave my journaling blank so I can add my own handwriting once it is printed.

This layout is actually a template that comes with the digital stamp set Style Beautiful so all I had to do was add my photos and journaling.
I have a ton of pictures of Libby and Esper (I think girls like to pose for the camera more than boys) so I am making an effort to scrapbook more pictures of Lake for our family album. This layout uses all items that come with the software except the Striped Grosgrain Ribbon Color Pack which I love and use a lot.
More Lake photos! I wanted to make the bracket shape look like chipboard and I think it kind of does. This page also uses the First Edition Designer Series Paper which is to die for.

This layout uses the Ice Cream Parlor paper which you can only get on the Sale-A-Bration digital content cd. You can earn it for free by ordering $50 of product but hurry- SAB ends March 31!

This layout uses the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper. I love it and plan on using it throughout Esper's first album.

Adding a Stamp to a Punch (Video Tutorial)

I am loving making these tutorials to show you how to do some fun techniques in My Digital Studio. For those of you not familiar with the software, I promise to make some very basic tutorials to show you how easy it is.

I got this idea from the Adding a Photos Into a Punch tutorial. You can find it here.

A Few Favorite Digital Downloads

Wow I have been on a roll lately. The more new supplies I have to use, the more motivated I am to create. And I'm loving all of the great digital downloads Stampin' Up! makes available each week to purchase. I am a sucker for cute kits, and they just keep releasing more and more! If you're wondering which ones to purchase, here are some of my favorites.

This layout uses my favorite new punches, the Beautiful Butterfly shapes:

This one features the new download available for purchase, the Thoughtful Overlays Brush Set:

This layout uses papers from the awesome Play Date Designer Series Paper:

The Always Elegant digital kit comes with a 20 page 12"x12" album that's perfect for wedding pictures or any pictures that call for something elegant:

This layout uses the fabulous 2011 Notable Desktop Calendar kit (designed by my fabulous roommate). I love the texture of the paper and the cute little ticket embellishments:

New Blog Category

For those of you who have not purchased My Digital Studio yet but are thinking about it, I have created a new category of blog posts called "Using Original MDS". If you click on that category you will see only layouts used with what comes in the My Digital Studio software. I tend to make layouts using the additional downloadable content you can purchase, and if you'd rather just see the core line, these projects are great for that.

Speaking of buying MDS, now's the perfect time to purchase, as you will get a free Sale-A-Bration item for spending over $50! But hurry, the offer ends March 31.

Creating a Punch Banner in MDS (my first video tutorial!)

I have wanted to create video tutorials for quite some time so that I can start teaching you all how to use My Digital Studio. I hope this video helps, and be on the lookout for more in the near future!

Here is the finished layout:

I have three new layouts to post so I'll just do them all together. All created in My Digital Studio, of course. I copied layouts I found online for all of them.

Thanks for looking!
