Here is another layout you may have seen on display at Convention this year. Guess what? I made quite a few more projects that Stampin' Up! didn't have on display- most of them will be shown in my online class- My Secret Studio. So hurry and come join!
I took these photos last fall of my sweet friend Kristie and her beautiful family. I really think something like this would look great framed on the wall.
This week has been so fun! I started teaching my first online class and it's such a blast. If you've ever wanted to learn more about My Digital Studio, this is a great way to do that. Each week in my class I will feature a Blog Hop bonus project. This week I am showcasing some tips & tricks about punches that you'll want to learn. Come join us!
I love punches, don't you? My favorite punches come in the Celebrate Any Day Greeting Cards Template- you get three thought bubble punches and this great grass punch. The long banner punch at the bottom is from the Comfort Cafe kit.
Also, are you getting so excited for MDS2?! One of the best features is the ability to use multiple colors on one stamp image. Look how I used two colors on the tree's leaves and colored the trunk brown. I LOVE this feature!
I have another Convention card to share with you today. I used the Summer Smooches Kit which is so fun and bright. I always love the stamp brush sets (and stamp sets when I'm actually stamping) that are bold and graphic designs like this one. I find it harder to design with line-art images than these. I played with a new card size than I usually do- this one is 6" x 6".
Make sure you check out my online digital class if you're interested in learning how to create projects like this one.
I'd have to say this was my favorite card of the ones I created for Convention. I LOVE the greeting (Home is Wherever I'm With You) that comes with the Comfort Cafe collection- it's from one of my favorite songs by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros. If you haven't seen this daddy daughter combo covering it, you totally should.
Today is the first day of my new online class- My Secret Studio. Come join in on the fun!
A few of you may have seen this layout on display at Stampin' Up!'s convention last week. I was honored to get to create some samples in MDS for the display boards there. Trying to create my best artwork always pushes me creatively, and I love the results. This was my favorite layout of all the ones I made. It features a picture I took of my beautiful niece Addison last fall.
You may recognize the technique as one I used before on this layout. I called the tutorial "masking" before, but I think I would actually call it "how to recreate the look of spray mist on your digital layouts" because that's really what it is. Here's the video again in case you missed it last time:
If you liked learning this technique, you may want to sign up for my online class where you will learn many more like this!
