MDS Blog Hop: Card Sketch

Today we are using a card sketch you can see here. I used the greeting card designer template that comes with the Comfort Café Designer Series Paper download as my starting point. I just used the elements on the card and moved them around and added some flags until it looked like the sketch.

The Paper Players Challenge #108

I think it's about time I got back into doing challenges so that's what I'm doing today- a color combo challenge from the ladies over at The Paper Players. This was a fun combo to work with and I enjoyed the challenge.

I used the new features in MDS 2 to add color to my flower stamp and recolor the DSP. Can you tell I LOVE it? :)

I'd have to say this was my favorite card of the ones I created for Convention. I LOVE the greeting (Home is Wherever I'm With You) that comes with the Comfort Cafe collection- it's from one of my favorite songs by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros. If you haven't seen this daddy daughter combo covering it, you totally should.
