Nobody's Business Photobook Template

Last night I made this layout with pictures from our summer vacation. I'm sooo ready for warm weather again! I am loving the bright colors of the Nobody's Business Photobook Template. The colors work so well with fun, happy photos like these ones.

Digital Scrapbooking Day (Free Downloads!)

I should have posted this yesterday when it was actually Digital Scrapbooking Day, but I wanted to let you know about some free downloads Stampin' Up! is offering. Three downloads to be exact! Make sure you go get yours right away as there is only one day left. I recolored some of the elements in these kits and created the layout below.

Also, all kits are 50% off! Now's a great time to stock up.

September Downloads Challenge

The challenge this week on MyDigitalStudio.net was to use any downloads from September. I chose to use the new Designer Rosettes. I love them so much! Make sure you use the Soft Suede one if you are going to do re-coloring- the colors you pick will be the closest to what they really are. I was inspired by this layout on Pinterest. Isn't Esper loving on babies the cutest thing ever? I think so.

MDS Blog Hop: Must-Have Downloads

This week we made projects using our must-have downloads. Pretty much my favorite MDS products at any given moment is the last one I downloaded. This week it is the Convention 2012 Photobook Template (I love the chalkboard background and the chevron DSP) and the Be Awesome Today Easel Calendar Template (don't you love that title? The quotes and typography of this kit are amazing). Of course some old standbys are things like the flag punch that comes with the Comfort Cafe Designer Template Pages (it's a little longer and skinnier than the flag punch) and of course the frames from the Fan Fair Photobook Template.

I discovered the coolest technique last night by accident! See that chevron background? It's normally only Daffodil Delight and I recolored it this way using the technique. I am so excited to show this video with members of my online My Digital Studio class My Secret Studio. It is a self-paced class with many projects and videos, so it's perfect for you to join and then spend a rainy day catching up. So come join us! This is a technique you MUST SEE.

5 Months Layout Featuring Beau Chateau

I thought I'd try my hand at a vintage-meets-distressed-meets-chevron kind of layout. I still feel like there's something missing, but sometimes you just have to walk away from the computer and call it good enough. :)

I bought these Beau Chateau embellishments a while ago and still hadn't used them. Do you feel like you have to get some good use out of our downloads to justify the purchase? I certainly do. So the projects on my blog are usually a good mix of old and new downloads. Some of my favorite downloads are the ones I purchased a year ago and longer!

We're having fun in my online class- today I show how to recolor your Designer Series Paper in MDS 2. Come join us!
