Digital Scrapbooking Day (Free Downloads!)

I should have posted this yesterday when it was actually Digital Scrapbooking Day, but I wanted to let you know about some free downloads Stampin' Up! is offering. Three downloads to be exact! Make sure you go get yours right away as there is only one day left. I recolored some of the elements in these kits and created the layout below.

Also, all kits are 50% off! Now's a great time to stock up.

It's A Girl Layout + 31% Off Print Promotion

Happy Labor Day!

How appropriate that I am sharing a scrapbook page about when we found out we were having a girl. I love these pics- in one of them Esper has her mouth open and her hand tucked under her chin. She still sleeps like that. Layout design inspired by this one.

I am trying to hurry to finish her first album to take advantage of the digital print sale going on right now. You have until September 14 to submit your projects to be printed and you'll get 31% off!

MDS Blog Hop: Out of the Box Designer Series Paper

Today's challenge was to use a Designer Series Paper for something OTHER than what it's intended for! I used the Limited-time Savor the Season Hostess-Only Content CD. It's available October 3-December 31 for Hostesses or customers that put in a $150 order. The digital Savor the Season Ensemble comes packed with trendy, festive holiday stamp brushes, Designer Series Paper patterns, embellishments, punches, and several designer templates that are perfect for holiday cards and projects!

What I especially love about this kit is the colors! They are so bright and fun, and because they aren't the traditional Christmas colors, they looked great on this layout about my daughter.

Check out this video of Stampin' Up!'s Holly Linford showing how great these designs look when printed:

So what are you waiting for? Email me to book your workshop where we will create some awesome holiday projects.

P.S. I am now including links to fonts used and project inspiration in my supply lists. Hope this helps!

Thanks So Much card

I actually stamped! Using paper, ink, and stamps! I know I started this blog (Stamping with Erica) making more stamped projects, but after having a baby, I found myself having little time or space to do anything but create projects in MDS. But I have felt the itch again to use real paper and ink so you may be seeing more cards soon.

I started by running a piece of Whisper White card stock through my Big Shot using the Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Then I took a sponge and applied Tangerine Tango Classic Ink to the raised image. I like the result.

I used the Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper as inspiration for my color scheme. This DSP is great, and if you purchase 3 packs of DSP this month, you get one free!

Sale-A-Bration time!

This is my favorite time of year! Every year Stampin' Up! has the best promotion- Sale-A-Bration! For every $50 you spend you get a free stamp set. BUT this year they have also added in some other things you can get for free including buttons, paper, ribbon and the best: a digital content cd! Here are the images that come on the disc. Basically it is digital versions of all the stamp sets in the SAB brochure plus designer series paper, buttons, and ribbon.

I made a two-page spread of Libby's 3rd Birthday.

Here are the pages larger:
For this page layout I used this sketch from PageMaps.com.

I used a template from MDS for the right page so I could fit lots of photos on the page.

Here is another layout I made using some border strips from the SAB digital content cd. I also used the circle punch to make my own Designer Series Paper. It was so easy!

So hurry and place your order by March 31 for $50 and receive a FREE product! You could even order My Digital Studio and receive the digital content cd for free!
